Everyone absolutely loves Juniper....
It is twisted and turned, and has a great combination of light and dark wood on some of the more ancient trees. The dark wood is from the old, old trees (probably 300 to 600 years old) and the lighter, newer growth, which adheres to the old wood is more in the 100-300 year old range. This particular type of juniper is found in remote places and atop high plateaus.
Other juniper can range in color from chocolate brown amid lighter swirls, to white with rich reddish orange centers.
